Dr. Davis became interested in orthodontics at a young age after having braces as a teenager, an experience that sparked a long-standing goal of one day becoming an orthodontist himself. After completing his training, he worked as an associate orthodontist for several years, gaining both clinical and real-world practice experience. Acquiring an orthodontic practice in Utah and building it alongside his wife has been a true dream realized, especially as they are the first business owners on either side of their families. While deeply rewarding, launching and growing the practice has come with challenges, including operating in a highly competitive market with an unusually high number of orthodontists per capita and lower average fees than many other regions of the country. These challenges have shaped the practice’s focus on excellence, efficiency, and patient experience.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

One of our most meaningful patient experiences involved a young patient who came to us with severe crowding that had displaced a front tooth completely out of the supporting bone and gums, putting the tooth at high risk of being lost. She also struggled with significant airway issues caused by an extremely narrow palate, which affected her breathing and sleep. Midway through treatment, her family experienced unexpected financial hardship, creating real concern about whether she would be able to continue the care she urgently needed. Our team worked closely with the family to offer flexible financing options so treatment could continue without interruption. Ultimately, the outcome was life-changing: we were able to create enough space to guide the tooth back into a stable position, allowing the bone and gums to regenerate naturally around it. Palatal expansion not only resolved the crowding, but also increased her airway volume, dramatically improving her ability to breathe through her nose. Today, she no longer snores at night, and her sleep quality, cognitive focus, and behavior have noticeably improved. For our team, this case represents what exceptional care truly means; combining clinical skill, compassion, and a commitment to doing what is right for each patient and family.
