What types of advertising are you currently doing and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past? (It’s ok if it isn’t IndoorMedia 😊)

Facebook paid ads, the most successful have been for fight night ppvs. But we want to increase on our weekday business by promoting our daily specials.

Are there any certifications, awards, or media recognition for the business? Please include certifications that may seem obvious, like certification from the board of health for restaurants.

Board of health has never scored below a 94
Media recognition for quality of food, overall venue vibes, and atmosphere for various events such as DJ Nights, Fight Nights.

How many employees does the business have? Are there any special employees that have a unique story? Are there any employees who have been with the company a particularly long time?

20 employees. The ownership group has a very deep and special story, as well as an employee by the name of Nicholas Lott, he has persevered from very difficult life situations to putting his all in to provide for his son. He started as a bartender and quickly became an Assistant General Manager.

 

Veer Modi, one of the investors also has a very special story being a very young investor at the age of 32 and has gone above and beyond to lead this business from the ground up and also his creativity that has made World of Beer stand out.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

This partnership of owners started with two brothers, Kamlesh and Ray Modi, over 30 years ago once they established themselves as immigrants in the United States. Since then, Veer and Ankita (brother and sister) have stepped up to continue their legacy.

Ankita, being the oldest child, has been involved in business for over ten years, and then Veer joined the team a few years ago being the youngest sibling in the family, and has brought a vision and creativity to the table that will help grow the businesses and expand for years to come. Together, the siblings, along with their spouses have taken what was started by their father to another level.

A great customer story includes a couple by the names of Troy & Crystal, since coming to WOB for the first time, they built a relationship with Veer and are now every day regulars.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

Quality of our food, the gorgeous build out of the venue, and above all, tremendous customer service which will make anyone that walks in feel at home.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about? For example, restaurants might offer catering and Car Washes might offer shampooing of seats and carpet.

We offer catering, corporate buy outs, and a staff that is trained to accommodate everyone from beer enthusiasts, cocktail lovers, and foodies.
