What Services or Products does your business provide?

We provide American Heart Certified CPR, AED and First Aid training for lay persons and medical providers. We ensure that by the end of each of our courses, our students are confident to act and assist someone in an emergency.

What types of advertising are you currently doing and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past? (It’s ok if it isn’t IndoorMedia 😊)

Google Business and Facebook Marketing.

Are there any certifications, awards, or media recognition for the business? Please include certifications that may seem obvious, like certification from the board of health for restaurants.

AHA Training Certification, Certification from Overdose Lifeline in Layperson Naloxone administration and response.

How many employees does the business have? Are there any special employees that have a unique story? Are there any employees who have been with the company a particularly long time?

I am the owner and sole employee of the business officially. I do have 2 subcontractors that will be doing classes for my company.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

I had been previously assisting the family of my partner at the time and absolutely loved the education, the new and interesting people I was meeting and just the passion they had for what they did. After we unfortunately separated, their family still wanted me to assist with these classes and asked if I would become an instructor. I started running my own classes and loved it so much I decided to cover the east side of Phoenix while they covered the west side. And I have never lost my passion for what I do.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

It is hard to single out a great experience among so many but I would say the best customer experience has to be with a client in Chandler at a company called NXP. Her name is Marie and from the first time I taught for her staff we have just become very good friends. She always has raved about my training even to her family and friends and has always been so welcoming. It is a relationship that I truly cherish.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

Not only I, but the instructors who teach for my company are extremely passionate about what they do and the deeper meaning it holds for all of us to help save a life. we do not just go though the video and practice, we make each student feel important and always go the extra mile, whether it’s spending more one on one time with them during the testing or thoroughly encouraging and answering questions if they do not fully understand a part of the training. We more importantly emphasize the importance of putting their safety first when it comes to approaching a victim in need.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about? For example, restaurants might offer catering and Car Washes might offer shampooing of seats and carpet.

We offer personal one on one classes, family and friends classes and discounted group or corporate events.
