I am an ASE master Certified mechanic.

I have one employee.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

I come from a background of small business owners in the food industry. I grew up working in restaurants and just was not interested in staying with that industry. I have always been mechanically inclined and was very involved in auto body and automotive vocational programs in high school. This led me to go to Nascar Technical Institute and get a Trade certificate in automotive. I graduated NTI in 2008-2009. I began working for dealerships and was certified in different areas with Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and also became a Senior Master Gas/Diesel Ford technician. Before I stepped out and opened my independent shop I had been the transmission specialist at one of my local Ford Dealers for quite some time. I reached a point in my life where I felt that I needed much change. I began helping a friend that is in residential contracting and got a feel for being a working small business owner and the location I am at opened up and it felt like things just began falling into place. I definitely felt a divine presence as all was set in motion for me to open my own automotive shop.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

I have customers come in often that are very apprehensive about mechanics and automotive shops. I love being able to sit with my customers and work on gaining their trust. It is amazing to see someone come in with a car problem that can be extremely frustrating and send their world spinning into a manageable calm situation.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

I am not like other mechanics. I want the repair to be solid and my customer satisfied with fair pricing. I am willing to put in the extra effort to make sure everything is understood and completed as well as possible with the resources provided.
