What Services or Products does your business provide?

Putters Golf Carts is a golf cart dealership that sells new and used golf carts, street legal LSVs (low speed vehicles), UTVs, Mini carts, sound systems, LED lights, wheel and tire combos, and accessories for all your carting needs. We are an authorized Kandi dealer and service center, as well as a SoundExtreme and MODZ dealer.

What types of advertising are you currently doing and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past? (It’s ok if it isn’t IndoorMedia 😊)

We’ve used Google Ads as our main form of advertising, but also use Facebook and Instagram, and we post funny videos on TikTok.

Are there any certifications, awards, or media recognition for the business? Please include certifications that may seem obvious, like certification from the board of health for restaurants.

While we haven’t received formal certifications or media recognition, we’re proud to be well-known and trusted by many of the surrounding businesses in our community. Their positive feedback and support mean a lot to us as we continue to grow and build our reputation!

How many employees does the business have? Are there any special employees that have a unique story? Are there any employees who have been with the company a particularly long time?

We are husband and wife owned with our son as the General Manager! We have a simple business model that doesn’t require much, so Putters is truly a family owned and operated business. It’s a team effort and we love being able to grow something meaningful as a family.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

Jason and I founded Putters Golf Carts in 2023. Jason has a true entrepreneur’s heart, from the IT industry to a successful BBQ restaurant, and now golf cart dealership, he saw a vision in our growing city for golf cart transportation and grabbed it. I have diverse experience in everything from project management and operations to accounting and HR, so the switch to owning a golf cart dealership and working as a husband-and-wife team to in the rapidly-growing community just made sense.

In addition to selling carts, we help educate the public about golf cart safety and navigation in a growing town. We have hosted events with the local police department and city to spread awareness of rules and laws surrounding carts on the road.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

One time we had a customer come in and she wanted to buy her daughter a golf cart for her 16th birthday. She has a condition similar to autism that affects how she processes things, and it meant she would never be able to drive a car. So, for her 16th birthday, her mom bought her a golf cart! It was the perfect way to give her that sense of freedom and celebration.

We arranged to surprise her at her big birthday celebration with all her friends and family, and we pulled the golf cart up to the front door of the event with the sound system pumping her favorite song. She and all her friends were screaming with happiness and surprise, it was very sweet and such a special moment we got to participate in!

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

We pride ourselves in offering superior customer service and satisfaction. We are not just trying to sell you a cart, we want to educate our customers on safety, navigation, road rules, and what you should look for in a cart, whether or not you buy it from us. We offer free delivery to select locations, and do not charge dealer fees – our price is our price.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about? For example, restaurants might offer catering and Car Washes might offer shampooing of seats and carpet.

We are an authorized EcoXGear SoundExtreme dealer for sound systems, subwoofers, LED roof lights, LED under glow, and LED whips. We are also a MODZ dealer for premium wheel and tire combos.
