Groupon, yelp ad, google ad. None really made any significant impact.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

I partnered into this business. Original name was Stark Archery, I changed to Shooting Zone when I completely took over. I was going to sell my share back to my partners when my wife was expecting a 4th Child. Upon hearing they would be closing the business, I bought them out. You will see my daughter at the range so I can spend time with her. I wanted to keep open for her because I absolutely love the sport. I had a hard time finding a permanent home but now I have the space big enough to accommodate both beginners and experienced.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

We get a lot of dates here. We have a few marriages and even have a proposal at the range. When the groom asked if he can propose to his girl friend here we were more than happy the plan the special day. When the day came I think Me and my oldest Daughter was more nervous than the groom to be.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

I do not think of the people that come to my range as customers but friends in the making. as corny as it sounds. I want to introduce this sport to everyone. When I first started to shoot I did not get the best instructions. I want to give the best advise from what I learned to my friends so we all can enjoy this sport.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about? For example, restaurants might offer catering and Car Washes might offer shampooing of seats and carpet.

We offer something for everyone. 1st timers we have hourly rates and rentals. Memberships for people who shoot a lot. Private Lessons and classes.
