What Products or Services does your business provide?

We provide eye exam, contact lens exam, medical/emergency eye visits such as viral/bacterial infection, foreign body removal, glaucoma exam, post op LASIK and post op cataract, specialty contact lens exam such as scleral and hybrid contacts lenses, rigid gas permeables lenses, take photos of the inside of the eyes

What types of advertising are you currently doing, and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past?

Currently, we have been passing out flyers to local businesses such as urgent care clinics, large corporations, etc. Also, we leave an A-frame outside our office to attract the attention of walking traffic since we are next to a grocery store and HomeGoods. So far, we’ve been attracting walk-ins everyday and getting new patients.

Tell us about your employees.

We are a practice of eight employees. We have 2 optometrists, an office manager, a lead lab technician, 3 optometric assistants and 2 part time optometry students. Dr. Usman Sheikh has been with my practice for over five years. He provides great care to patients by giving an attentive ear and going above and beyond. Our office manager, Christy, has been in the optical industry for over 30 years. She has a vast array of experience from adjusting frames, frame selection, and knowledge of lenses, lens options, progressives, and contact lenses. Plus, knowledge of procedures such as post op LASIK, cataract surgery, etc.

What is the story behind your business?

Our family has been in the optical business for many generations. My grandfather owned an optical in 70’s and then my aunt became an optometrist and owned and operated her own optical. I became the third generation of optician/optometrist. So when I opened my own practice, Today’s Vision Grand Morton, I’m continuing our family legacy. I want to grow this family business and continue it as a private practice. So I can continue to provide superior service to our patients.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

A patient came in on Monday morning looking for an eye exam and glasses. He was in need of a pair of glasses right away since he lost his glasses at the beach. We took him in right away and we were able to get him a pair of glasses on the same day. He was able to drive and return to his normal routine.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

We provide quality eyewear along with quality service. We always listen to our patients. Whatever issue they may have we will find a solution that will help our patients.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about?

We offer temporary lenses to hold patients over if their eyewear is delayed. We offer free shipping of contact lenses regardless if it is just one box. Patients can always contact us through text via our office phone number 346-702-3937. Patients can book their appointment online.
