Tell us the story of how the owner or partners started this business.

I’m David Cianchetti, a graduate of New Mexico State University. My career started in the insurance industry with over 28 years of experience. As I began my family, I realized early childhood education‘s importance. After my insurance career, I decided to pursue my passion for children and the childcare industry which led me to open my first daycare in Webster, TX. A Sunny Daycare opened its doors in the summer of 2024 and is in the process of enrolling children. We are located within a church and in a more industrial complex, therefore it has been a challenge to get the word out of our opening, and enrollment has been slow. Enrollment has been our main challenge for us since we opened.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

A Sunny Day Care, Inc. will serve families with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years of age in Webster, TX.

Families will choose our location for their childcare services because of our location, our computer-based education application, our media room, computer/game room, curriculum, and our tutoring/homework assistance room. In addition to the above-mentioned areas of discipline, we will be offering Infant care for twenty-three slots in our new location. We will also accept childcare subsidies and will have no specific percentage of our capacity dedicated to these subsidies. We will service all families regardless of economic status. Our research has revealed that our competitors, in this market, limit the number of government-subsidized children they will accept. Most of the centers in this area have reached their capacity of the desired number of subsidized students they will accept. We will also focus our market on the medical profession in need of childcare services.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about?

Our staff is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
