Chef Brian Moody is Utah’s longest-tenured chef, having been with Grub Steak Restaurant since 1981. With 45 years of experience, Brian brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the kitchen. Many members of his kitchen staff have also been with him for more than 35 years, creating a team built on experience, consistency, and dedication.

Established in 1976, Grub Steak Restaurant is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026.

We have many great customers and their families who have been enjoying our restaurant for five decades.

We specialize in aged Certified Angus Beef steaks and fresh seafood. Our prime rib is cooked for 20 hours and is still medium rare—it cuts with a fork.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about?

We have space for large parties and offer banquet service.
