We are a Full-Service Restaurant serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner all-day, and we are also a full-scale bakery proudly serving over 40 different pies and cakes.

We use Social Media as our primary advertisement.

We are consistently nominated by the Houston Chronicle’s Best of the Best series for being one of the Best Breakfast Restaurants, Best Dinners, and Best Desserts in Houston. We are proud to say we won the Best of the Best – 2023 Best Desserts Award by the Houston Chronicle.

We have approximately 40 employees at each location, and many employees have been working here for over 30 years, as this is the only job they ever had. One Manager at our Kirby location has been working here for over 42 years since he was 18 years old.

The owners have been in the restaurant industry for decades and have seen all of the highs and lows that restaurants have faced over the last 3 decades as the times have changed. Although customers dining preferences and methods have changed, the House of Pies has stayed constant and true to itself, and has always been a Houston staple.

We are proud to say we have many regular customers who come in 5-7 days a week and have been doing so for multiple decades. Many of these regular customers have formed lifelong-friendships with the staff as well as other regular customers, as the House of Pies has become a second home for them.

We pride ourselves on being Houston’s favorite local diner. In an environment where inflation has hit everyone hard, we pride ourselves on having fair and affordable prices, while serving the highest quality food and providing the top-notch service.
