What Services or Products does your business provide?

We are a breakfast and lunch establishment. We serve a variety of breakfast items such as omelets and biscuits & gravy. We have a variety of sandwiches, hot and cold, burgers, dips and wraps.

What types of advertising are you currently doing and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past? (It’s ok if it isn’t IndoorMedia 😊)

So far, the only thing I have done is make some signs for the roads so people can be aware of the business. We are kind of on the main drag, so most do not know we are around except for our regular clients.

Are there any certifications, awards, or media recognition for the business? Please include certifications that may seem obvious, like certification from the board of health for restaurants.

We do have an operation permit from the health department, working on the liquor license and we have over a 1000 4-star reviews from guests.

How many employees does the business have? Are there any special employees that have a unique story? Are there any employees who have been with the company a particularly long time?

We have 15 employees, and only one has been around for a few years, and that’s my wife, Megan Rogers. She has a great rapport with all the regulars around.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

My wife and I have always wanted to own a restaurant. Both of us have been doing the food service industry for 20 + years, she as a front of the house manager and server, and I as a sous chef and kitchen manager. This is our first business, and we hope to make it a family-owned business for our 6 kids and their first jobs.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

We had a family of 7 come in to our restaurant form Canada and they had a great experience with us. They wrote a great review and will be returning every time they come to the States.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

The company was founded in 1991 and has built a great reputation with the community and the chamber of commerce here in Marysville. We offer great food and amazing customer service.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about? For example, restaurants might offer catering and Car Washes might offer shampooing of seats and carpet.

We offer space for clubs that want to use our establishment for their meetings, and we offer banquets for up to 50 people after normal business hours
