What Services or Products does your business provide?

Neighborhood Cleaners is a new, locally family-owned dry cleaners business in Pflugerville, Texas. We provide a wide range of services, including dry-cleaning, laundry, wedding dress, pressing, and repair services for a range of garments and household items. Our new ownership brings a new brand name, ‘Neighborhood Cleaners’, to Pflugerville in three locations. The ‘Grand Openings’ for all three locations started in April and will be completed by June. All locations have new management, new staff, beautifully remodeled facilities and signage, new equipment, new systems, and new delivery vans to serve the Pflugerville community!

What types of advertising are you currently doing and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past? (It’s ok if it isn’t IndoorMedia 😊)

This is a brand new business taking over three existing dry-cleaning locations, so all three have brand new online profiles, a new Facebook page for online searches, as well as new DigitalBoost Geofencing campaigns and grocery store ‘Register Tape’ campaigns at three different local H-E-B stores announcing the grand openings and providing a special grand opening promotion!

Are there any certifications, awards, or media recognition for the business? Please include certifications that may seem obvious, like certification from the board of health for restaurants.

Dry cleaners are regulated, and Neighborhood Cleaners works within the local city permits and the environmental agency requirements to maintain a safe working environment and sustainability for our local environment.

How many employees does the business have? Are there any special employees that have a unique story? Are there any employees who have been with the company a particularly long time?

Some of our employees transitioned from the previous owners and are extremely experienced. Many are very engaged and have helped tremendously with getting each location up and running with the new brand, remodeling, and systems. A business is only as good as its staff, that takes care of the customers every day. We greatly appreciate all the hard work of our employees, both old and new!

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

Johnny and Rosie Morones are the new owners of the new Pflugerville Dry-Cleaners brand! Neither of us is new to business ownership and understands that a successful business must provide excellence in Customer Commitment, Quality, and High Standards! We have made huge investments into all three locations with much attention to detail in every area – the customer-facing area, new equipment, new signage, and by posting our customer commitment framework. We also provide convenience with ‘Same Day Service,’ as well as ‘Satisfaction Guarantee’ and ‘Pick-Up and Delivery‘ services.

A long-term resident of over 20 years in the area explained how excited they were that a new owner was taking over the location and how much more organized, clean, welcoming, and professional it was under the new ownership! The staff also seemed so much more engaged and happier – almost like it was their own! She was excited that the name had changed so the community would realize that it was under new ownership and she wanted to let everyone in the area know that they finally had a local cleaner in their neighborhood again that they could trust and use!
