It’s mostly my brother and myself. We both have commercial and residential experience. Combined, the 2 of us have over 10 year experience. We have recently taken on a trainee and another subcontractor partner with 10 + years of experience, as well as a broad range of experienced between the 4 of us.

In your own words, please write a paragraph about how the owner or partners got interested in starting this business. Is the owner the first person in their family to own a business? Did they have a career before starting this business? Were there any specific challenges they faced in opening or keeping the business open?

I have always had an interest in running my own business and schedule, but I just never knew what. I joined the union as an apprentice painter as well as my brother. We have both pursued that full-time for the past 6 years. With kids and wives and a passion for our trade, we saw how much value there is in representing your workmanship and the relationships we get to build along the way. Each day we get to do what we love, learn something new, meet new people, new styles, and different ideas that every customer brings to us. No job is the same, but we all come into it with the same attitude. To produce a finished product with quality detail and a friendly smile!

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

We had this customer once who, every morning when we showed up, offered us a homemade latte. They own a tree service company, so we look out for each other with future customers. She later referred us to both of her daughters for work. But I feel most experiences are great, you get to learn people’s stories, their careers, about their children, or what they have aspirations to do with life. Some of which lead to lasting relationships.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

We have worked together hand in hand for 6+ years now, and we both know what to look for and expect on most of our jobs to proactively and productively complete our tasks. Working with high-end homes has taught us what we need to know to ensure a quality product, as well as what customers expect from a professional. In hindsight, working in fast-paced commercial environments has taught us how to complete a task under pressure but still offer 100% quality and detailed work.

We offer a 1-year warranty on our work to give our customers peace of mind. If, down the road, Precision Touch Painting made a mistake, we will take responsibility and make it right at no additional cost.
