What types of advertising are you currently doing, and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past?

Facebook, CareInHomes, Carelistings, Craiglist, Meli Cafe Menu, Piggle Wiggle Bags,( Piggle Wiggle bags not yet in stores coming soon, Chamber of Commerce magazine and I think CareInHomes works best for tryingto find leads for now

What is the story behind your business?

I worked in a factory for 24 years making hair clippers and parts for blow dryers, and flat irons. I wanted to do more than, help customers behind the scenes, I wanted to be up close and personal with people and truly be able to see the looks on their faces whether they’re happy or sad. I always knew there was more to accomplish than just being behind four walls in a building, I’ve had compassion for helping people.

I would help my coworkers out all the time being there for them mentally and sometimes physically so, with that being I always had a caring heart for people and I wanted to make a difference in my community, like volunteering etc. With this business, I can help people hands-on and truly be there for people in their time of need.

We helped a client find a new facility because the client was being mistreated and they were so grateful to Actikare for assisting them with searching for a new facility

Discharge Assistance Program to pick up a client for Transport home, which includes inspecting the house for changing needs, as pre-discharge visits to medical facilities to ensure a smooth transition back home from the hospital or rehab facility
